Makara (Capricorn) — Rahu Ketu peyarchi 2026–2028
Rahu moves into Makara (Capricorn) and Ketu into Karka (Cancer) on 5 ਦਸੰਬਰ 2026. They stay there until 24 ਜੂਨ 2028. The two always stand opposite each other, so this is one move seen from both ends.
Rahu and Ketu, from your rasi
Rahu moves into Makara (Capricorn) on 5 ਦਸੰਬਰ 2026 — the first sign counted from yours, which the classical gochara table does not list among the favourable placements for Rahu. That is the ordinary case: the table gives Rahu 4 houses out of twelve, so most rasis are outside it most of the time, and it describes emphasis rather than misfortune.
Ketu moves into Karka (Cancer) on 5 ਦਸੰਬਰ 2026 — the seventh sign counted from yours, which the classical gochara table does not list among the favourable placements for Ketu. That is the ordinary case: the table gives Ketu 4 houses out of twelve, so most rasis are outside it most of the time, and it describes emphasis rather than misfortune.
Where it actually stands
| Sign | From | Until | For your rasi |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kumbha (Aquarius) | before this year | 5 ਦਸੰਬਰ 2026 | 2nd from your Moon not on that list |
| Makara (Capricorn) | 5 ਦਸੰਬਰ 2026 | still there | 1st from your Moon not on that list |
A peyarchi is rarely one date. A graha crosses the boundary, usually turns back over it while retrograde, and crosses again months later — so the first date is where the move begins. These are the whole spans.
