Why the chart looks different

Because Lal Kitab fixes the signs to the houses. Aries is the first house for everybody, Taurus the second, and so on — your planets keep the houses they occupy in your birth chart, but the signs under them come from the box rather than from the sky. That is why its rules read so differently: they are about houses, where the rest of this site is about signs. Enter your birth details and this draws it.
