These hours are what remains after removing the periods every almanac marks. The rising sign is named for each one and not graded: the classical rules for judging a muhurta lagna could not be traced to a text we have read, and we would rather name the lagna and let you take it to your purohit than invent a verdict. We also do not publish durmuhurtam — two major panchangams place it in different muhurtas on the same day, and removing the wrong forty-five minutes from your day is worse than not offering the field.
